D&D is continuously seeking skilled self-employed marquee Erectors / Labourers based in Northamptonshire.

D&D Marquees is a prominent marquee company and one of the Midlands' longest-serving marquee providers, having commenced operations in 1990. We are currently seeking Marquee Erectors/Labourers to join us on a temporary, self-employed subcontracting basis during the Spring, Summer, and Autumn months.

Work will be required from March to October, commencing early at our unit at 7 am on weekdays and some weekends, with ample opportunities for overtime.

Daily responsibilities will include assisting with the safe erection and dismantling of clearspan marquee structures, as well as with events such as parties, festivals, and weddings, and with the cleaning, transportation, and storage of marquees at our warehouse.

Competitive hourly pay rates will be offered based on your experience and possession of a clean driving license, a Class C License (7.5 tonne), and a forklift license.

Requirements for the Self-Employed Marquee Erector / Labourer Position:

You should be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting. You must have your own transport or be able to reach our warehouse in Northamptonshire each morning. Previous marquee experience is preferred but not mandatory; if you are energetic, flexible, enthusiastic, and reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Northampton, you will be considered.

Remuneration for the Self-Employed Marquee Erector / Labourer Position:

£12 - £20 per hour, commensurate with experience and possession of a FULL CAT C Driving License (7.5 Tonne). Additional pay is negotiable for applicants holding Class C HGV licenses. We will also consider candidates with experience in similar fields.
